What to Expect

Therapy Appointments

New client appointments are typically 60-90 minutes with shorter 30-60 minute follow-up visits. During the first appointment, we will get to know each other as well as discuss questions and your priorities in order to develop an initial treatment plan. Services are provided via telehealth, in-person, or a combination of telehealth and in-person visits. 

 

Psychological Assessment & Testing

Assessment appointments are typically 2 hours long with 1 to 3 follow-up visits to allow optimal performance as well as time to discuss results and recommendations. Private school admission testing is usually completed in one visit. Assessments are completed at a comfortable pace based on your child's needs, setting us apart from many other providers.  We can provide assessment services for many bilingual and multi-language learners. We also have experience conducting comprehensive evaluations for youth with a range of developmental abilities.

Consultations

Brief telephone consultations are provided before scheduling appointments at no charge. These are typically 15 minute phone calls to answer questions and assess fit.

Full consultations with target areas or questions (e.g., a specific behavioral issue, parenting support, complex questions about psychological assessment or accommodations in schoolare provided and tailored for your specific needs. Services tailored and delivered to agencies, schools, and other providers are available on an individual case or contractual basis.

 

Fees

Fees are due before the start of appointments. Psychological assessment fees can be divided into two payments. Insurance is not accepted, but receipts are provided for out-of-network benefits reimbursement. Clients with out-of-network benefits typically receive reimbursement for the majority of appointment costs.
