What to Expect
Therapy Appointments
New client appointments are typically 60-90 minutes with shorter 30-60 minute follow-up visits. During the first appointment, we will get to know each other, answer questions, discuss your priorities and concerns in order to develop an initial treatment plan. Services are provided via telehealth or in combination with in-person visits.
Psychological Assessment & Testing
Assessment appointments are typically 2 hours long with 1 to 3 follow-up visits to allow optimal performance as well as time to discuss results and recommendations. Private school admission testing is usually completed in one visit. Assessments are completed at a comfortable pace.
Consultations
Brief telephone consultations are provided before scheduling appointments at no charge. These are typically 15 minute phone calls to answer questions and assess fit.
Full consultations with target areas or questions (e.g., a specific behavioral issue, parenting support, complex questions about psychological assessment or accommodations in school) are provided and tailored for your specific needs. Services are also provided to agencies, schools, and other providers.
Fees
Fees are due before the start of therapy appointments. Insurance is not accepted, but receipts are provided for out-of-network benefits reimbursement. Clients with out-of-network benefits typically receive reimbursement for the majority of appointment costs.
